From ads that mirror recently visited websites to suggested searches that remember accounts you stalked weeks ago, Instagram's data collection and use is unnerving. The social media platform takes note of your likes, follows, comments, hashtags, location, photo content, and more, all in the name of a better Instagram experience. Even scarier, the app remembers this information after you clear your in-app search history. Without access to your search data, the app relies instead on the interaction between accounts and similarities in content. In addition, the social media platform also considers hashtags, post content, and location when creating suggestions.

When you're typing a search term or URL into Chrome's address bar, Google makes recommendations for websites and search terms based on what you've typed. This feature on Instagram search is called autocomplete, and Keyword Tool uses the autocomplete of Instagram to generate Instagram hashtags suggestions. To use Google autocomplete, begin typing a keyword into the google search bar.

Google will automatically pop up a list of suggestions for things people searched for when they enter the term you are using. However, many feel it as a breach of their privacy as they could be browsing something that they are later embarrassed about or just want their soul to know. After you delete it; that hashtag would not pop up again while you are searching again on Instagram. Even if you do not wish to delete the entire history; you can even delete specific Instagram accounts from popping up again as suggestions during your search. In the past this section was customized to each person based on the content that Instagram thought you may be interested in. To get more likes and followers, it is important to add only the most relevant hashtags to your posts. If your Instagram photos or videos appear on the relevant hashtag pages, they are more likely to receive better engagement - clicks, likes, and comments.

And as a result, show up in the feeds of people that follow the selected tags to get even more attention. There is a growing number of people that follow different hashtags on Instagram. The easiest way to get in front of them is to add relevant hashtags to your posts and stories. All you need to do is paste a list of hashtags related to your content and your Instagram posts will appear in the feeds of the people that follow the hashtags that you have selected. YouTube provides users with a variety of ways to make finding videos quick and easy. But sometimes the help that YouTube provides can be a little too much help, namely when it comes to search suggestions.

When you begin typing in the YouTube search box, a drop-down list appears with a variety of suggestions for search terms based on what you have already typed. This list can be distracting if you know exactly what you intend to type, so you may wish to remove it. Once you view the answers you can share them in your story by taping Reply that will open a new screen to take a photo or video and post it in the story with the user's answer. Please note that this functionality will not show the username of the person but just their response text. This article explains how to remove one or more Instagram "Suggestions for You" users from your feed if you're not interested in following them. However, it is not the only way to use email for getting IG accounts to follow. There are people search engines available on the Internet. It is possible to enter the email address and get as much information about a person as possible.

Some of this data can be later used for the IG account search. Many users claim that it is impossible to search for someone on IG by email, but it is a great mistake. Naturally, you can't do that directly in your app, but it is possible to discover people IG accounts using third party services. One of the ways to do that is to enter an email address on Facebook and find this person there.

If he or she accepts your friendship invitation on FB, you will be able to connect to your FB account and add this person using the way mentioned above. It's the first time we see such functionality as part of a social media platform. And it seems like this Instagram story update will bring users chats to a higher level.

So, when users view an Instagram Reel with this content, they can tap a 'View Products' button to buy, save, or just learn more about the featured products. Google Search, the feature you're almost certainly using every time you type something in your browser's search bar, is the most popular search engine. The problem is that when typing fast, we all can fall victim to the occasional spelling error. And since Google remembers, it will autofill that mistake over and over again.

Instagram's suggested search accounts are based on a number of criteria, the most important of these being your own search history. Instagram collects data from likes, comments, prior searches, and post locations to suggest accounts during searches, even after search history is cleared. One more easy way to find a post or an account associated with a unique hashtag is to use the option called 'Tags'. It is also offered under the search bar and works in a similar way.

However, it is important to remember that you should enter a keyword you try to find only with a # sign before it. It is a standard look of a hashtag on all media platforms and IG is not an exception. Since the number of such accounts can be quite long, use the scroll button to be able to see all of them.

By posting an Instagram Story, you can share a photo or a video with your followers. Most frequently, these stories represent short glimpses into your everyday life. Go to the Profile tab and hit the button in the top-right corner, followed by Settings. Then scroll down to Account, and then tap on Original photos (if you're using the iOS app) or Original posts . Once you share the story with the countdown sticker, your followers can tap on the arrow in the corner of the sticker and set up a reminder or share it with their Instagram stories.

The process is really simple – business and creators add up to 30 products from their collection on live streaming. When going Live, they can pin the product they are talking about so viewers can get familiar with its characteristics. If they like it, users can tap on it to view the product details page and buy them. Unfortunately, there's no X button beside each suggested user on the All Suggestions list when viewed on Instagram.com. If you want to delete suggested users from this tab, you have to do it from within the app. Instagram is trying to be helpful by connecting you with users you may want to follow based on mutual friends, people in your contacts list, and Facebook friends.

If Instagram gets it wrong, here's how to remove a suggested contact. The address bar suggestions adjust based on your browsing behavior, such as how frequently and recently you visited a web page and what result you chose based on what was typed. This way pages you visit all the time will show up at the top of the list, often after typing only one character. You need to first open the Instagram app or go to its website and log onto your account. Next, go to the search section which is noticeable as a magnifying glass icon.

From this list, select individual users and then delete them. They would no longer appear on your search suggestion list. We have already discussed that your deleted search account might still appear in your recommended search list as they are still present on the other user's profile. But the good thing is that you can stop them from appearing in your suggested search menu. The same step would hold true for both mobile and PC.

Some of the exhibits were hard to understand and staff we not readily available to answer questions. Some of the exhibits were the same things everyone has seen elsewhere multiple times. One of the larger "illusions" wasn't really an illusion, just a picture you edited on your smartphone. If you enjoy Rubik's Cube or Sudoku puzzle type challenges or games there are examples of those as well, but not sure how they fit into illusions. Entire museum, really the first floor of a former retail store, took an hour, maybe.

The best part was a card magician in the lobby, who graciously performed several tricks for us. However I don't think he is regularly part of the offerings and while in the expansive sense of the word he did illusions I'm dubious about magic in a museum of illusions. I would definitely not recommend this for families with children under teenage years because they won't understand most of what is being described or enjoy the experience.

Definitely take advantage of Grant Park garage parking deal - $10 for 8 hours. From initial consultation to the delivery of dress, they were a dream to work with. They walked me through the whole process and helped me design a beautiful gown that was completely one of a kind.

Each step of the design process was fun, and I loved having the opportunity to pick my fabrics and colors. I was always excited to get status updates from the factory. I especially liked seeing the dress come to life from sketch to final review.

Their customer service was also great. They checked in with me at regular intervals to keep me up to date. They also followed up as the wedding date drew closer to make sure I was all set for the big day. I've recommended them to friends, family, and even strangers.
