Even as everything begins to open up, it still feels great to know that safety measures are in place to help everyone experience the museum and stay well. WNDR Museum has implemented comprehensive safety enhancements. One thoughtful change they've made is a designated hour for first responders to enjoy the museum free of charge.
In addition, the WNDR Museum is now open 7 days a week! This is the perfect time to plan a visit and kickstart a new chapter after a challenging year. We really enjoyed our visit and think you will as well.
Whether you love art museums or not, this one is a truly unique experience. Science Museum Oklahoma is a remarkable venue to host corporate meetings, social events, and company retreats. The Museum hosts a variety of distinctive spaces from an aviation gallery, to a stunning art gallery, to a fun exhibit of optical illusions, while the Gardens feature a serene outdoor patio. Not only does the Museum offer customizable meeting spaces, but it also accommodates large, elegant dinners and dynamic events that are set to impress. To make your event even more memorable, your guests can also enjoy discounted admission to Museum exhibits, tours, and more.
Some of the exhibits were hard to understand and staff we not readily available to answer questions. Some of the exhibits were the same things everyone has seen elsewhere multiple times. One of the larger "illusions" wasn't really an illusion, just a picture you edited on your smartphone. If you enjoy Rubik's Cube or Sudoku puzzle type challenges or games there are examples of those as well, but not sure how they fit into illusions. Entire museum, really the first floor of a former retail store, took an hour, maybe.
The best part was a card magician in the lobby, who graciously performed several tricks for us. However I don't think he is regularly part of the offerings and while in the expansive sense of the word he did illusions I'm dubious about magic in a museum of illusions. I would definitely not recommend this for families with children under teenage years because they won't understand most of what is being described or enjoy the experience.
The installations are designed to help you reflect, make you think about things in a new way, or just enjoy something that looks really incredible. The installations ask visitors to scan QR codes to read more about each artist and their work, so you'll be learning all along the way. Post COVID, the museum has reopened with 20 new exhibits, so even if you've visited before, this is the perfect time to come see all that the Museum offers now.
I arrived a lil later than expected but they were extremely accommodating! One of the staff even took like 90% of our pictures to make sure we got the PERFECT angle!! Our experience couldn't have been better!
We definitely needed more than an hour because there were so many stations! I highly recommend this for a fun day/night out with friends and family of all ages. This is a Chicago gem that I recently heard about. I took my 12 year old granddaughter last week. She's not exactly a lover of school and learning, if you know what I mean.
I can tell you she was captivated by the many different ways to see and experience Illusions. Guides are available but not overbearing to help with photo ops and explanations. More young adults there than children.
Very close to Millennium Park and a short walk to Maggie Daley Park. You can give your family a fun downtown Chicago day. Definitely take advantage of Grant Park garage parking deal - $10 for 8 hours. From initial consultation to the delivery of dress, they were a dream to work with. They walked me through the whole process and helped me design a beautiful gown that was completely one of a kind.
Each step of the design process was fun, and I loved having the opportunity to pick my fabrics and colors. I was always excited to get status updates from the factory. I especially liked seeing the dress come to life from sketch to final review.
Their customer service was also great. They checked in with me at regular intervals to keep me up to date. They also followed up as the wedding date drew closer to make sure I was all set for the big day. I've recommended them to friends, family, and even strangers.

Friendly upon entering, really pushy and aggressive when your time is up. Intercom calls, the security guards were hollering time to go. You also have to shop if you would like to buy a gift within your hour.
So, see 5 floors, read mulitple paragragh of 14 font print, take pictures and shop for your gifts in 1 hour. Seems to be a little gimmicky and not customer friendly. I just put down my deposit for my dress to be created and I am already so impressed by this company. They are SO friendly and helpful and do everything they can to help the vision of your perfect dress come to life.
My design sketch is so beautiful and I know the final product is going to be even better. I think we can all agree that it's more fun when you can get involved! It can be difficult to involve kids in art, and the WNDR Museum was something we could experience and enjoy with our toddler or our older kids.
The WNDR Museum stands out from other "interactive" museums because it truly cannot be complete without audience participation. Perfect for birthday & anniversary celebrations. PHOENIX Gift Certificates or TUCSON Gift Certificates. While many visitors will arrive at the attraction with Instagram shots in mind, the Museum of Illusion bills itself as an "edutainment destination," where guests are able to learn about what they're seeing. "Our goal is to teach our guests why their eyes are seeing something their brains can't understand, so our staff is very well trained in the illusions and the psychology and science behind each of them," Stec says. You'll find stickers in each of the photo-friendly rooms that allow you to snap the perfect shot . There are also smaller illusions lining the halls of the museum, demonstrating holograms, reflective tricks and other optical illusions.
There are so many awesome illusions to see. Kept my boys very entertained and kept her mind's wondering. As a family we felt very safe in this museum so many safety precautions we're taking place. They were sanitizing after you left each illusion so it was ready for the next person.
If you're looking for something fun to do with your family or if you have extra time I would definitely check this place out you will not be disappointed. I know my family is ready to go back and check it out again. Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a good starting point to sample the city's energy and flavor. Yelp has over 199 million business and restaurant reviews worldwide. I've never felt more beautiful than I did in my custom-made Anomalie wedding dress. I'll admit it was a bit scary to create my own dress online, but the designers helped me stitch together my favorite parts of several other dresses I had tried on in stores to make the absolute perfect dress for me.
It was high quality, absolutely beautiful, and fit me like a glove. My now-husband cried when he saw me in it during our first look. I highly recommend for date night, family night, special celebrations, or even go by yourself.
Super Dope Place Great place to hang out with your girls. Purchased tickets on line for admission. Please arrive on time to fill your time slot. So get there on time to experience all the floors. 5 floors to witness and take in all the great exhibits. So be sure to rush up to the 5th floor.
Once your time has expired its last call to make it out of the exhibit. Fun and interactive exhibit A little overpriced but you get out of it what you put into it. Take the time to actually read about the artists and the pieces for the full experience.
Came here with my BFF and we enjoyed the entire museum. Lots of places to take pictures at, they have props you can use, music is enjoyable, and the staff is super fun. They'll suggest different poses and take multiple pictures for you.
The timed admission is appreciated because it's not crowded and they have sand sanitizer all around. The Museum of Illusions offers a family-friendly gallery experience that combines education and entertainment. Expect about an hour to explore this 1 room "museum???".
Most of the visual illusions are interesting and entertaining. At first the staff felt intrusive, but they were really helpful in appreciating the designs. I just recently heard of this museum.
